HEP – History, Economics and Political Science​

The HEP combination provides an integrated understanding of historical developments, economic systems, political institutions, public policy and governance. It is an ideal choice for students aspiring to build careers in civil services, public administration, law, economics, journalism, policy research, teaching and higher education.

HGP – History, Geography and Political Science

The HGP combination brings together the study of historical processes, physical and human geography, environmental concerns, political systems and international relations. It offers a strong academic foundation for careers in civil services, administration, urban and regional planning, environmental studies, geospatial fields, policy research, education and social development.

Spread across six semesters, the programme includes discipline-specific core subjects, languages, skill-enhancement courses, constitutional values, environmental studies, computer applications, communication skills, employability skills and internship-based learning.

Through classroom discussions, seminars, assignments, field-based activities, presentations and interdisciplinary learning, students develop critical thinking, research aptitude, effective communication, leadership qualities and a comprehensive understanding of India and the wider world.
